Get ready to kick off the weekend with an evening packed with fun, friends, and excitement because guess what? From this week onwards, Friday Frenzy is back and better than ever! 🌟
What is Friday Frenzy?
Friday Frenzy is a youth group specifically designed for school-aged children and young people. To make sure everyone has a great time, we’ve split the sessions into two groups based on age:
🏫 Primary school group: 4PM-6PM
πŸ“š High school group: 6:30PM-8:30PM
Ready to join the frenzy? All you have to do to register is scan the QR code or swing by our reception to grab a registration form. We’d appreciate a gold coin donation to help keep the fun going! πŸŽ‰πŸ™Œ

Join us for loads of fun and excitement at Holiday Happenings during the school holidays!
Location: Kippax Community Centre (Cnr Luke St and Hardwick Cres, Holt)
Date: October 3 & 10 (Thursdays)
Time: 10am – 2pm
Cost: $5 per child or $10 for two or more in the family
Please ensure your child brings the following:
🍱 Packed lunch πŸ₯€ Drink bottle 🧒 Hat for sun protection
🌑️ Stay Safe: If your child is feeling unwell, please refrain from attending. We want to prioritize the health and well-being of everyone.

The EmPOWERing Regional Women’s construction program – Information session Tuesday 24 September 2024

Exciting News for Women in Regional NSW!Β 

UCK and The Umbrella Collective are thrilled to launch the EmPOWERing Regional Women Program in Yass this October, as part of the HumeLink project.

Starting October 15, this free, family-friendly work-readiness program will help kickstart the careers of 15 women from the Yass area in the construction industry. Whether you’re looking to enter the field or take your skills to the next level, this program has you covered with:

πŸ”Ή Accredited training (including White Card, Traffic Control, First Aid, and more!)
πŸ”Ή Resume and interview skills workshops
πŸ”Ή A structured mentoring program
πŸ”Ή Health and wellbeing support

The program runs for 7 weeks, part-time (Tues-Thurs), making it ideal for those with caregiving duties. Plus, transportation is available if needed!Β

Family Bounce!

Family Bounce!

Kippax Uniting presents: Family Bounce!

Family Bounce is a time for families to enjoy an active time together. We will be going to the trampoline park, Bounce, as requested by the children, young people and families from our last event.

Registration is required, please call Kippax Uniting Community Centre reception on (02) 6254 1733 and fill out the form in person to register.

The 19th of September is your last day to register and limited spots are available.

Tickets need to be paid for to secure your place.
Parents / carers must remain onsite with their child(ren).

Date: Friday the 27th of September

Time: Arrive at 3:45PM. Jumping begins at 4PM-5PM.

Location:
Bounce
Westfield Belconnen
18 Benjamin Way, Belconnen. This is located next to the bus interchange near Max Brenner, this is on the top floor.

Cost: $10 per jumper.

RSVP: All registrations are due by Thursday the 19th of September.

Parents / carers: Parents / carers must be present with children.

Parking: There is free parking at Westfield Belconnen.

Transport: We will NOT be providing transport this time around.

Food: Outside food is not allowed in the venue. There will be a cafΓ© onsite.

Kippax Uniting Church is able to subsidise the cost of Bounce tickets with the support of the ACT Health Promotion Grant Program.
