It’s Friday Frenzy Time!
Get ready to kick off the weekend with an evening packed with fun, friends, and excitement because guess what? From this week onwards, Friday Frenzy is back and better than ever!
What is Friday Frenzy?
Friday Frenzy is a youth group specifically designed for school-aged children and young people. To make sure everyone has a great time, we’ve split the sessions into two groups based on age:
Primary school group: 4PM-6PM
High school group: 6:30PM-8:30PM
Ready to join the frenzy? All you have to do to register is scan the QR code or swing by our reception to grab a registration form. We’d appreciate a gold coin donation to help keep the fun going!

SPARK is teaming up with North Belconnen Community Association Inc., The Y Canberra Region Early Learning Centres, The Canberra Institute of Technology (RTO Code: 0101), The Umbrella Collective and UnitingCare Kippax to bring you a game-changing training program! If you’re passionate about working with kids, this is your chance to get qualified, gain hands-on experience, and step into a career in Early Childhood Education and Care!
Here’s what you’ll get:
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121)
First Aid in Education & Care settings (HLTAID012)
Real work experience with local childcare providers
Job opportunities in Early Childhood Education & Care for those who meet the criteria
The program kicks off on March 11, 2025, running 4 days a week (Tuesday–Friday) for 24 hours each week. It combines theory, practical learning, and work placements at top childcare centres in Canberra.
Info session: Tuesday, Feb 25, 11am-1pm at UnitingCare Kippax (Holt). Attendance is a MUST to apply,

An information presentation
A selection session for eligible applicants

You’ve completed high school
