UnitingCare Kippax – CEO Announcement

UnitingCare Kippax – CEO Announcement

After 10 years,ย our CEO of UnitingCare Kippax, Michael Nurmi, has resigned to take up an executive position on the NSW South Coast. While this news is sad, we are excited for him as this new opportunity will allow him to work much closer to home. His last day will be Friday 7 June 2024.

Michael is much loved by staff and volunteers. He is a person of integrity, passion and vision and has helped shape UCK into the amazing organisation it is today. When we look at the organisation, we see so many ways that Michael has made an impact โ€ฆ the way he supports staff, builds stakeholder networks to support the work that we do and the setting up of The Mower Shed are just a few examples! We are so grateful for Michaelโ€™s leadership and contribution to UCK.ย

ย Theย UCK Board has appointed Aimee Kent as Acting CEO whilst the recruitment process for a permanent CEO is undertaken. Aimeeย has been an integral part ofย  the leadership team for 6ย and has a sound understanding of the operations and governance requirements of UCK.
