Kippax in collaboration with Helping ACT (a community service organisation helping homeless and vulnerable Canberrans) and the Ginninderry Community developers hosted Iftar for over 160 people on the 15th of April (Saturday).
Our Presbytery co-chair Janet and Presbytery Minister Liz where with us, and we were also joined by one of the leaders of the Hindu community, the Deputy High Commissioner for Pakistan, and ACT Deputy Chief Minister, Yvette Berry and many others.
It was a joyous occasion and a wonderful example of shared hospitality and respect across the faiths!
