This week at Kippax

Hi friends,

I’m back from a week of leave and I’ve brought a bug back with me. Hopefully I’ll be with you on Sunday.

This Sunday is the fourth and final Sunday in the Season of Creation – River Sunday – and John Williams will lead us in the 830 and 1030 services. John’s wisdom and experience is guaranteed to be insightful. This weekend marks the first weekend of the school holidays – Kippax Kids Sunday Club will take a break over the next two weeks. Holiday Happenings will be on the next two Thursdays – October 1 and 8. Clipboards will be circulating if you can assist Chris and the team in either setup or on the day.

Next Sunday we will be led by Lynette Dungan – does that name sound familiar? she has a passion for justice and has engaged with the mission of justice and peace – with God, with others, and with the earth, We look forward to welcoming her to Kippax!

There will be no First Sunday Lunch next weekend. Enjoy the long weekend.

After almost 6 years here, Erin Miller, our Admin Officer, is moving to Melbourne. We wish her all the best for this next stage in her life and will miss her greatly. Her farewell morning tea will 10:30am Friday October 16. Please feel free to drop her a note ( or pop in to say thank you and wish her well over the next few weeks.
