Hannah’s weekly message

Who likes the smell of freshly baked bread first thing in the morning?

This week we welcome back John Emmett who will be sharing in our 830 and 1030 services on the theme of “bread” and seeing “beyond the bread”. I hope it will feed you all.School is back and so are our children’s programs for term 3 – Kippax Kids Playgroup and Sunday Kids Club, Newpin, English Conversation, Cross Crew, a pilot program called Building Buddies, and this term we have two Rock Rhythm and Roll sessions, one for children with special needs.

UnitingCare Kippax’s EFMA program is appealing for Maternity Goods over July. Donations of baby wipes, nappies, powder, formula, toiletries are appreciated. Place these in the Basket in the Kippax auditorium.

Final reminder – The Church Council is also calling for nominations. Have you considered how you can offer leadership at Kippax? Can you see gifts of discernment and vision in someone at Kippax that you could nominate? Have a good think about who you can approach, and email Jon Freeman your nominations: jon.freeman@outlook.com
